The presentation of these plans will take place on October 10th at 5pm at the Nederland Community Center. The consultant team is hosting a draft plan presentation on October 10th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm in the multipurpose room at the Nederland Community Center.

This presentation will cover plan organization, key information from the existing conditions analysis, and introduce strategies and recommendations. We hope you'll join us!

After an extensive round of engaging with the Nederland community, SE Group has released a report on the information that was gathered from the public open house and online survey, detailing what the community thinks are the most important needs.

As part of the Comprehensive Plan Update, SE Group is working on a downtown subarea plan that focuses on addressing updates and improvements to the Downtown Area, including new development, and the overall character of Nederland's downtown. Please take this survey to add your input and recommendations. Doing so will ensure that the final plan fits with how we want to see Nederland grow!

Let’s envision the future of Downtown Ned together!

Save the date for the Downtown Nederland Workshop! Join the Town, Downtown Development Authority, and Design Consultants from 5-7pm on March 13^th at the Community Center for an interactive workshop focused on the future of downtown development. At this two-hour workshop you will:

• Learn about previous recommendations and plans that influence Downtown;
• Hear what people said about Downtown on the latest online survey;
• Build your own Downtown improvements exercise;
• Help define what “Nederland Character” is to influence future design proposals;
• And MORE!

This workshop will be a fun, hands-on opportunity to connect with fellow neighbors and the business community to establish a vision for Downtown for the next 15-20 years. If you care about Downtown, you don’t want to miss this! Light refreshments will be offered. All ages welcome!

Thank you to the 96 respondents who have already provided their feedback for the Comprehensive Plan. The planning team will use this information to help guide the future vision for Nederland and establish priorities related to housing, economic development, downtown, recreation, and more. It’s not too late, make sure your voice is heard and take the survey before it closes on March 1^st.
