Visitor Center Parking Lot Repaving to Start Week of August 14th

Repaving of the Nederland Visitor Center Parking Lot (located on West 1st Street) will be taking place next week. Parking Lot closures will begin late Monday August 14th, with the paving planned to start on Tuesday morning.

Effected ClosureIt is expected that paving will last all day Tuesday and into Wednesday. Businesses in the parking lot area will still be opened during this time.

Since this will reduce a primary source of parking in the downtown area, we are asking that you use other public parking area around Town. We have highlighted other public parking areas that can be utilized during this time:


Alternative Parking Areas

We are expecting the parking lot to be finished and reopened late Wednesday or early Thursday.
